API Token Setup
Your API token connects your Figma plugin, WordPress plugin, and Figmentor Studio account. Follow these steps to set up your token.
Get your API token
Your API token links Figmentor Studio with both plugins. Use the same token in the Figma plugin and the WordPress plugin.
Keep your API token private. If compromised, regenerate a new token immediately and update your plugins.
Plan Limits & Usage
Each export counts as one usage. Your current usage and remaining exports are visible in:
- Figmentor Studio Dashboard (main overview panel)
- Inside both plugins under "Usage Overview"
Understanding Plan Limits
| Plan | Monthly Exports | Renewal |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 25 exports | Monthly reset on billing date |
| Pro | 75 exports | Monthly reset on billing date |
| Agency | Unlimited exports | N/A |
Before exporting a large design, consider splitting it into logical sections or components to preserve exports and make your templates more reusable.
Sync & Billing
Sync
Plugins auto-sync with Figmentor Studio. If your plan changes or your token is revoked, you'll be notified in the plugins.
Sync frequency:
- Figma plugin syncs on startup and before each export
- WordPress plugin syncs on admin page load
- Manual sync available via refresh button
Troubleshooting: If sync appears out of date, try manually refreshing or restarting the plugins.
Billing
All billing is managed securely via Paddle. You can view and manage your subscription anytime in the Billing tab of Figmentor Studio.
Billing features:
- Change your subscription plan
- Update payment methods
- View invoice history
- Cancel subscription
Note: Cancellation will not provide a refund but will allow you to use the service until the end of your current billing period.
